FAP Receives Tax Exempt Status

We have just been notified that Friends of America's Past has tax exempt status. This means that 100% of your donation is now tax exempt. This status is retroactive to August 30, 1998, so you may deduct any contribution you made last year on your 1998 taxes.

Friends of America's Past has no paid staff. The board donates our time and expenses to run Friends of America's Past. We are keeping all expenses to a minimum. For now, this means 100% of your donations will directly support the Kennewick Man suit and scientific study of the skeleton when permission is granted. As our resources grow with your support, we will expand our activities so that we can provide financial assistance and guidance in similar disputes. Help us keep our country free for exploring and expressing all views and explanations of the American past.
